This research aims to find out the emotions faced by EFL students. The subject of this study was eight students in the 8<sup>th</sup> semester from the English Education Department University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The participants were selected diversely, comparing the gender and level semester. The data obtained from interviews the transcribed in text and analyzed using content analysis. The data showed that the pandemic COVID-19 influenced students' emotions. The result also indicated two emotions, positive emotions and negative ones. Positive emotion showed by feeling pride, pleasure, and satisfaction caused by the use of technology properly help students to get profit in knowledge and financial. Besides that, to develop students' creativity to combine technology and the English language. Meanwhile, negative emotions showed by feeling anger, laziness, bored, and hopelessness caused by many obstacles.
