Abstrak

This research is motivated by the enthusiasm of foreign students who want to learn Indonesian as their second language as a means to make communication easier. However, the interest of foreign students in studying Indonesian has caused problems, namely the readiness of BIPA learning management, which has not been carried out properly, as evidenced by the weak mastery of Indonesian for foreign students found in the field. This is indicated by the poor management of learning carried out at BIPA institutions. Therefore, this research aims to examine the management of Indonesian language learning for foreign students. Some of the research foci include planning for BIPA learning, organizing BIPA learning, and controlling BIPA learning. This study aims to determine the planning, organization, implementation, and control of Indonesian language learning for foreign students at the BIPA Darmasiswa Institute, Pasundan University. The approach used in this research is a qualitative one with a descriptive case study method. The research strategy used was a single study. The sources of data obtained are through informants and resource people, events or activities, and documents. The results showed that the BIPA Darmasiswa Institute of Pasundan University had implemented management functions well, starting from planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling Indonesian language learning for foreign students
