The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' ability to understand short stories with the make a match model. The research method is quantitative description. The subjects of this research were 27 students of class IX D SMPN 13 Bengkulu City. Data collection in this study used test techniques in the form of pre tests and post tests. Data analysis of this research 1) Students are given pre-test questions, 2) Using the make a match model in short story learning 3) Giving students a posttest question. 4) Entering student score data into the data table. 5) Interpreting data 6) Concluding the improvement of short story understanding skills of students in class IX D SMPN 13 Bengkulu City with make a match. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to understand short stories pre test with an average of 71.5 the average result of the post test increased by 78.3. The average value of pre test to post test increased by 10%. The increase in the ability to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories pre test with an average of 72.6 the average post test results increased by 78.1. The pre test to post test results experienced an increase of 8%. The increase in the ability to understand the structure of short stories pre test with an average of 70.5 the average result of the post test increased by 78.6. The next generation will answer the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. Selain itu, kegiatan sastra dapat dijadikan rujukan bahan ajar bagi siswa dan tenaga pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas sastra di sekolah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses transformasi sastra dari biografi Seabad Ismail Marzuki: Senandung Melintas Zaman karya Ninok Leksono menjadi drama musikal Payung Fantasi karya Garin Nugroho dan penggunaannya sebagai bahan ajar drama di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penulis mengumpulkan data dengan observasi terhadap sumber data yang diteliti, yaitu buku biografi dan drama musikal terkait. Selain itu, penulis melakukan uji validasi terhadap bahan ajar yang telah disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian. Kedua, ada indikator yang jelas sebagai penanda suatu bentuk transformasi sastra. Ketiga, musik yang digunakan dalam musikal memiliki harmoni dengan 21 tema dalam buku biografi. Keempat, berdasarkan hasil validasi 2 validator Modul Ajar dan LKPD yang telah disusun maka Modul Ajar dan LKPD dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif di kelas XI kurikulum SMA merdeka. In Indonesia, particularly in the Central Java Region, Javanese language learning is implemented as part of the local curriculum. Javanese language learning includes Javanese script as one of its components, which requires the mastery of Javanese script character to form sentences. This research aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning using the teams games tournament model with the assistance of Javanese script cards on the Javanese script writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Ngeblak. This study is categorized as quantitative reasearch using a pre-experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study consists of fifth grade students at SDN 3 Ngeblak. Data collection techniques involve tests, including pre-test and post test. Data analysis techniques include two types: instrument validation and data analysis test. Instrument validation involves validity and reliability, while data analysis test include normality tests and hypothesis tests.</em></p> <p><em>Based on the calculations from the pre-test and post-test, the average pre-test score was 50.24, while the average post-test score was 87.88 with a significance value of 0.00, which is less than 0.05. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of Javanese script cards with the cooperative learning model, specifically the teams games tournament, has an impact on the Javanese script writing skills of fifth-grade students. Writing ability is one of the foundations for students to develop effective written communication skills. However, the reality on the ground shows that not all students are able to master writing skills. The purpose of this research is to show the predictive factors that influence students' writing skills in elementary schools. The research method used is the correlational survey method. This research involved one hundred elementary school studentss. The students were given exercises in the form of free essay writing. Then the students were given a questionnaire to find out the predictive factors that influenced them. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis belum tercapai sesuai dengan harapan, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan dan perbedaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan kelas yang menggunakan model konvensional dan memiliki efek yang besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh uji-t pada nilai Sig. The data were analyzed using the distribution method with substitution and transformation techniques. The pivot testing was carried out on relative clauses of Deli Malay and English language. The theory which is used is syntactic typology theory. The result of the study showed that Deli Malay and English language is an accusative typology language. The pivot testing shows that Deli Malay and English relative clauses consists of intransitive and transitive clauses with S/A pivot pattern. This study investigates the business management of Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA) in Islamic universities. The main issue addressed is the effectiveness of BIPA business management in attracting international students and dealing with the challenges of running this program, particularly in Islamic universities. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the management strategies applied, identify findings and implications of BIPA business management in Islamic universities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review approach as the research design. This approach utilizes information obtained from various written reference sources such as books, academic journal articles, theses, dissertations, and other publications. This approach involves in-depth analysis and synthesis of existing knowledge in the literature related to the research topic. In addition, document analysis related to marketing strategies, business plans, and BIPA program performance evaluation is also conducted. This study provides implications for the development of BIPA programs in the future. The use of effective digital marketing strategies needs to be maintained and improved to remain competitive in recruiting international students. Additionally, it is important to address budget and teacher recruitment challenges through collaboration with local educational and cultural institutions. This shows that the theme is very interesting and has been studied from various scientific backgrounds. From the results of research using a Systematic Literature Review, it was found that there are many differences in using the concept of religiosity and they are still partial. For this reason, this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study was carried out to obtain and reconstruct an understanding of religiosity in Indonesia from various research conducted to be more comprehensive and not partial. This SLR uses a database obtained from the search engine Harzing.com. The data obtained was then reduced using the SLR protocol until the amount was sufficient for analysis. As a result, the concept of religiosity in Indonesia does not have much debate, both in terms of terminology and definition. The source of the data in this study was fantasy story text written by Indonesian language students and teachers in class VII-F and VII-G of SMP Negeri 1 Tambakboyo. Data collection carried out in this study, namely direct observation, interviews, and data analysis. The results of the research show the following things. First, Tambakboyo 1 Public Middle School students are able to understand fantasy story text material through an integrative learning model. Second, Tambakboyo 1 Public Middle School students are able to understand the structure of fantasy story texts well, namely by mentioning the orientation, complications, and resolution in their writing. This research aims to describe the agricultural lexicon category and describe the meaning of the paddy farming lexicon in Indramayu district West Java. The data in this study is the Indramayu dialect of Javanese language lexicon used by farmers in activities in the field of paddy farming. The theory used in this research is Ethnolinguistics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study found that the lexicon in paddy farming in Indramayu district is divided into three categories: nouns, verbs, and adjectives. Writing literary works is one of the significant functions of language. Through the use of imagination, authors create literary works of art. Literary works use figurative words (figurative speech) to convey a beautiful idea or main idea in the form of a certain meaning by the author. The author can convey a message with figurative language to evoke emotions, imagination, and enthusiasm in the reader's soul. This research aims to describe the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Strand of Asa in Muara Kerinduan by Metropoly Merlin J. Liubana. The issue at hand concerns how figurative language styles are used in the poetry anthology “Untaian Asa di Muara Kerinduan by Metropoly Merlin J. Liubana. Additionally, the approach utilized is both descriptive and qualitative. The process of data collection involves reading, recording, classifying, and entering data into a database. This research utilizes data analysis techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, concluding, and verification. In the research, it was found that hyperbole 3 data, simile 1 0 data, allegory 1 data, personification 21 data, metaphor 2 data, synecdoche 1 data, and hypallage 1 data in the form of comparative figurative language, in addition, the figure of speech known as affirmation involves the repetition of three data points. The figure of speech of satire consists of a single satire, and the figure of speech of contradiction consists of litotes of one word. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan beberapa kategori yaitu bahan, bentuk, ukuran, penampilan dan tujuan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode agih untuk mengidentifikasi butir leksikal yang tergolong makanan tradisional untuk menetapkan kategorisasinya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teori metabahasa semantik alami. Teori MSA digunakan untuk menganalisis komponen makna secara rinci melalui teknik parafrase. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design type of experiment. From this type of experiment, researchers used the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Deisgn design. In this study, the population used was class IV students of SD Negeri </em><em>Mojogedang</em><em>, totaling 8 students. Furthermore, in the methodology of sampling or what is also called sampling techniques. In this study using non-probability sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The sample of this study was all fourth grade students consisting of 6 boys and 2 girls. The results showed that in the pretest, the minimum score was 40 and the maximum score was 70, with a mean of 57.50. In the posttest, the lowest score was 80 and the highest score was 90, with a mean of 86.25. This shows a significant difference between students' knowledge before and after using the CIRC method. To overcome this problem, the authors chose podcast learning media to improve students' ability to write poetry texts and students' creative thinking skills in class VIII SMPN 2 Margahayu. The problem in this study is related to the low ability of students in writing poetry texts and the ability to think creatively. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of podcast media and its impact on the ability to write poetry texts and increase creative thinking skills. The ability of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Margahayu in writing poetry texts is in good category. In addition, the ability to think creatively is also in another good category. Based on the results of statistical calculations, it can be obtained that podcast media has an impact on the ability to write poetry texts and the ability to think creatively. This is supported by statistical calculations. There are significant differences in writing poetry texts and students' creative thinking in the experimental class using podcast media and the control class using image media. This study uses a mix method with data collection techniques through tests, observations, and interviews. Setelah data soal diperoleh dilakukan uji instrumen penelitian dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh metode <em>field trip</em> &nbsp;di <em>era new</em> normal terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerita inspiratif kelas eksperimen, dengan nilai rata-rata 76,69 di mana lebih besar dari kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 51,97 dengan hasil &nbsp;= 0,200 dan &nbsp;= 0,05. Enhancing emergent literacy can optimize their forthcoming literacy development. One of the activities that is believed could support the maturity of emergent literacy phase is read aloud. However, there is no learning materials related about read aloud which can bridging family literacy practitioner and young children to stimulate reading literacy in specific. Therefore, this research attempt to analyze the need of learning materials based on two perspectives which are family literacy practitioner and young children with the age of 3 to 6 years old. Utilizing qualitative research method, with collecting data using questionnaire which were filled by 20 literacy family practitioner. Interviewing 12 boys and girls in total. The result of this research shows from family literacy point of view which is expecting learning material contains clear instruction, interactive contents, reading stimulation, and in the form of children picture book. This article aims to explain Koran Tempo's ideology by representing </em><em>incident</em><em> and actors featured in news stories about the Ferdy Sambo case in Koran Tempo using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis and corpus-based approaches. The research results show that the news about the Ferdy Sambo case in Koran Tempo tends to side with the victim or Yosua Hutabarat. This can be seen from the large number of uses of passive sentences to represent the victim and active sentences to represent the perpetrator as the main actor in the murder. Therefore, we need an Inquiry Based Learning model assisted by YouTube media to have a positive influence on students' review text writing skills. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Inquiry Based Learning model assisted by YouTube media on students' ability to write review texts. The research method used is an experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&amp;D) approach. In this study, the method utilized is the 4-D model of instructional development developed by Thiagarajan, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, it is noteworthy that in this research, only the development stage is reached, and the dissemination stage is not implemented. Tests, the media development process, teacher and student response questionnaires, and expert validation are the tools used in this data collection method. The suitability of the instructional media is assessed based on: The Big Book has undergone a significant validation process, obtaining a validation percentage of 96% from media experts and 95% from material experts, both meeting the criteria of "very valid." The practicality of the Big Book media is based on observations conducted by students and teachers during the use of literacy media. These observations also demonstrate how effectively the media supports learning objectives, student engagement, and teacher responses to the use of the Big Book in the literacy context. The average score for all student and teacher activities indicates positive results at 92%, meeting the criteria of "very practical." The effectiveness of student learning is measured by pretest and posttest results, indicating the effectiveness of the Big Book media with a percentage of 90%. Assessment applied in the field of education seeks to provide an overview of students' understanding processes and skills in obtaining information so that the resulting assessment is not only in the form of numbers, but also a description of follow-up plans that educators can carry out so that assessment becomes an evaluation tool (indicator) in achieving learning goals. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population of this research is the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at three universities, namely Medan State University (Unimed), Indonesian Education University (UPI), and Pasundan University. The samples from this research were two to three lectures in each study program. Data collection techniques use observation techniques. This data analysis step uses data presentation in visual form to see the application of the dynamic assessment model in the lecture process. The research results obtained (1) most lecturers had carried out an implicit initial assessment process in the opening or initial activities; (2) the core activities have been carried out by some lecturers by applying the principles of the dynamic assessment model by giving students the opportunity to submit arguments and provide feedback by lecturers to be able to provide confirmation of student understanding. Apart from that, the documented question and answer process has been carried out by the lecturer as a form of assessment of the process carried out by the learning process; (3) lecturers have carried out closing activities according to the indicators observed, although some lecturers missed carrying out reflection activities and missed assessing according to the assessment rubric. Units of thought, idea, or message in a sentence must be able to be conveyed clearly by a speaker and writer. The ideas in explanatory text are no exception. This explanation is packaged, among other things, in the form of definitions, arguments, clarifications, classifications, interpretations and constructions. The use of effective sentences should be applied by class VIII junior high school students in writing explanatory texts. If students can apply the rules of effective sentences, then the written explanatory text can be easily understood by readers and does not give rise to multiple interpretations. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data in this research are in the form of effective and ineffective sentences contained in the explanatory text written by students of SMPN 1 Turen class 8 based on the aspects of variation, parallelism, economy and completeness. The data source for this research is a collection of explanatory texts by students of SMPN 1 Turen class 8 obtained from teachers who teach Indonesian language subjects. Based on variation, variations were found in sentence opening. Each sentence begins with a noun, adverb of time, verb, and conjunction. Sentences with different types of nouns, adverbs of time, verbs and conjunctions were found. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kurt Lewin research model design, conducted in two cycles. This research consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the research indicate that the implementation of the TTW cooperative learning model is effective in improving students' ability to write descriptive texts using capital letters. This demonstrates that the cooperative approach can be an effective strategy in enhancing students' writing skills. It is recommended to continue implementing the TTW cooperative learning model in teaching writing descriptive texts and provide additional support for students who still need extra guidance in using capital letters. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The theory used is the euphemism theory of Allan and Burridge. The results of this study found 40 data on sexuality expressions divided into three categories, namely sexuality expressions that refer to physiological, sexual activity, and social life. The expression of sexuality that refers to a view of social life is the main finding in this study.</em><em> In the three categories of sexuality expressions, 5 categories of euphemisms were found, namely part for whole, general for specific, remodeling, filipancy, and Omission. Using slang in informal situations for adolescents serves as self-familiarity with other individuals. This research investigates the patterns, meaning, and functions of Sundanese slang in Bandung City/Regency. This research method uses a mix methods of qualitative and quantitative. The researcher collected the data through questionnaires via Google Forms with specific participant criterias to gain appropriate results. Twenty participants were selected based on age, birth, domicile in Bandung City/Regency, and Sundanese as their native language. In analysing the data, the researcher used O'Grady's (1996) theory regarding the word formation process. The results of this study indicate that the word formation processes of Sundanese slang is formed through the types of onomatopoeia (2.81%), derivation (4.22%), multiple processes, (7%) clipping, (8,45%), coinage (22.5%), acronym (24.6%), and blending (30.3%). Sundanese is one of the regional languages in Indonesia where many phatic forms are found, one of them is the use of addressed terms. In Sundanese culture, several forms of addressed terms are found, which are identified as phatic forms. In the culture of the Sundanese people, several forms of address terms are found, which are identified as phatic expressions. In collecting the data, observation is done to find natural data in the forms of address terms used by adolescent and adult speakers in Bandung, West Java. A survey using questionnaire was also conducted to validate the data obtained through observation. Based on the analysis and discussion, this study shows that there are several functional differences in the use of address terms as phatic expression in the domain of friendship, family, and strangers analyzed based on age perspective. The type of research is quasi-experimental with the student population of MTsN 2 West Bandung; 4) students' difficulties in writing exposition texts. The research sample was class IX E as the control class, and class IX F as the experimental class. There are 30 students in each class. The results showed: 1) the ability to write discussion texts and the confidence of MTs students who studied using the PBL model with the aid of visual media were better than students who learned using conventional methods; 2) there is a correlation between self-confidence and the ability to write discussion texts; 3) During the implementation of this PBL model, the activities of teachers and students were categorized as very good. The results of the final knowledge test show that the average acquisition of the experimental class is in the medium category, while the control class shows the poor category. The average final skill score shows that the experimental class gets a better score than the control class. This study has objectives including: 1) determining the influence of picture missing word card media on students' reading comprehension; 2) knowing the influence of reading interest on students' reading comprehension; 3) Knowing the mutual influence between picture missing word card media and students' reading interest in students' reading comprehension. This study uses a type of quantitative research with ex post facto methods. The process of collecting data is carried out by documentation techniques and questionnaires. The study sample consisted of 52 students. Such instruments are tested with validity and reliability. Normality testing (Kolmogorov Smirnov) and linearity testing were carried out as research prerequisite tests. In addition, the t test is used as a simple linear regression hypothesis test, while the F test is used for multiple regression tests. This study states: 1) There is an influence of picture clump word card media on reading comprehension as evidenced by the acquisition of t<sub>count</sub> = 3.626 &gt; t<sub>table</sub> = 2.008. 2) There is an influence of reading interest on reading comprehension. The source of data in this article is derived from the text of the <em>Tawur</em> incantation. This research method utilised ethnography and literature study. The results of the data analysis reveal that the Dayak Kaharingan community’s belief in the existence of <br><em>Ranying Hattala Langit</em> (God), <em>Sangiang</em>, rice spirits id reflected in the Tawur speech. In addition, the analysis also revealed a number of meanings implied in the <em>Tawur</em> which include, the meaning of God as the Creator, the meaning of supplication, the meaning of the existence of rice spirits and <em>Sangiang</em>, the meaning of respect, and the meaning of togetherness. Finally, the <em>Tawur</em> speech also includes two language functions, consisting of emotive function and conative function. This type of research is associative quantitative. The research population was all fourth grade students at SDN Baru 07 Pagi, consisting of 60 students. The sample determination was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, so that 30 students from each class IV and IV B totaled 15 students. Data on reading interest was collected using a questionnaire and Indonesian language learning outcomes using the results of Indonesian language report cards in semester 1 of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data were analyzed using validity test analysis, instrument reliability test, descriptive statistics, prerequisite test; normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test and simple regression test. The analysis test was carried out with the help of excel and SPSS 24 for windows. Kaba oral literature contains the perspective of the Minang people on social and cultural life. This study aims to describe the sweetness of gender injustice in Kaba Urang Tanjuang Karang. The method used in this study is the descriptive-analysis method. Data collection is carried out by recording and transcribing kaba. So, the data of this study is the result of transcription of the Kaba Urang Tanjung Karang manuscript. The results showed that gender inequality gave birth to various injustices, especially for female figures in the Tanjung Karang Urang Regency. The injustice experienced by the figures of Amak Delima, Siti Delima, Unyiang, Mak Lapau dan Siti Rohani manifest in five forms, namely marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, and double burdens.
