Profil Literasi Digital Siswa SMP Pada Materi Perubahan Lingkungan

Keterampilan literasi digital yang memadai sangat penting bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Literasi digital merupakan keterampilan yang perlu dianalisis sebelum pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil literasi digital siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 66 siswa SMP swasta di Kota Tasikmalaya yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dengan 20 pertanyaan tertutup menggunakan skala Guttman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek literasi digital seperti berpikir kritis dan evaluasi berada pada level lanjut dengan persentase 84,09%, serta kemampuan menemukan dan memilih informasi dengan persentase 75,37%. Di sisi lain, aspek literasi digital seperti keterampilan fungsional (67,80%), kreativitas (65,90%), kolaborasi (65,15%), komunikasi efektif (70,83%), pemahaman budaya dan sosial (71,96%), dan keamanan elektronik (72,53%) berada pada level menengah. Beberapa aspek ini perlu ditingkatkan untuk memaksimalkan keterampilan literasi digital siswa di tengah perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyediaan data empiris yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan untuk mengembangkan program pengajaran yang dapat meningkatkan berbagai aspek literasi digital siswa, khususnya pada level menengah, sehingga mampu mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan era digital yang terus berkembang.Downloads
